In compliance with the bylaws of the Cleveland DigitalPublishing Users Group (CDPUG), nominations are open for the Board ofDirectors and Officers. According to the bylaws, "nominations forelection shall be made at the second to the last scheduled regularmeeting of the year. Nominations may be received by mail before themeeting or from the floor at the meeting. Any voting member in goodstanding may be nominated."

According to the bylaws, the Corporate Officers and Board of DirectorsPositions in question are: President, Vice President/President Elect,Treasurer, Secretary, Membership, Programming, and Webmaster.

The second to last meeting for 2008 will be the October 30th meeting,at which time we will ask those members present to offer nominationsfor the Board of Directors and Officers.  In addition, members maysubmit nominations by mail anytime prior to that meeting.  Please sendthem to Judith Majher, Copy King, 3333 Chester Ave., Cleveland OHIO44115, or submit them by e-mail to  communications@cdpug.org

In addition to this process of soliciting nominations, nominations willalso be accepted from the floor on the day of elections, prior to thevoting. Elections will be conducted at the Annual Meeting, which willtake place on December 4th, at the Holiday Party.  Please watch yourmail for the announcement of that meeting.
