Speaker: Henry Lee, 3D artist, past CDPUG president
Description: Join us for an evening to learn how easy it is to start creating 3D images with the free DAZ Studio application. Whether you are a novice or someone who has experience, here is an app that has an easy to use interface but is deep in features. You’ll learn what is DAZ Studio, creating a scene, rendering, improving your images and integration with other apps. Along the way, we will explore some unique aspects of the app like dForce (dynamic cloth simulation), walk cycles and LAMH (hair/fur simulation) in addition to other useful on-line resources to help you grow and thrive as a 3D artist.
DAZ Studio is cross platform compatible and will run on just about any hardware that supports Open GL (obviously, the better the hardware you have, the better the results). There has never been a better time to start creating 3D images. Whether you are a traditional 2D Illustrator, a photographer, a product designer, game content creator or a multimedia artist, there is something for everyone.
