Salli will talk about the most pivotal moments that helped her and her brother Nate Padavick build their creatives platforms. Salli and Nate didn’t set out with a structured business plan when they launched their first creative platform. Their founding principle has always been to promote and showcase the work of illustrators, both amateur and professional, all around the world.
BIO: Nate Padavick & Salli Swindell
A brother-and-sister design-and-illustration duo who have worked together for over 20 years. They are advocates for illustration and the co-founders of THEY DRAW, Illustrators For Hire, and The Illustrator’s Circle. In addition to being born and raised in Cleveland. Nate currently lives in New York City and Salli is in Hudson.
Nate (@natepadavick) specializes in map illustration for magazines, festivals, hotels, airlines, and universities. He lives near Union Square in New York City with his boyfriend Jim. He loves to exercise, eat well, and take bike rides to the beach.
Salli (@sallistyle) has worked in the field of illustration since the early 80s. She lives in Hudson, Ohio with her husband David and cat Za Bun. When not in her comfy and colorful studio, Salli enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of Cleveland's Emerald Necklace.
