Raffle Prize: Markzware application of your choice

Our special November 12th meeting will be be a make-up meeting for the program that was postponed in September. CDPUG Officer, Power Ranger and frequent presenter, Henry Lee will show us Affinity Publisher (and beyond), the page layout product from Serif Publishing with many of the same features of Adobe InDesign at a more affordable price. The cost of Affinity Publisher is a $50 one-time perpetual license which is about the same amount as a one month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.  Henry will show us the new and important features of Affinity Publisher including the ability to open IDML files and access to your many InDesign documents. Henry's presentation of the Affinity products to CDPUG  packed the Garfield Heights Library in July 2018 of the PSD (Pre-Social Distancing) era.

Sharing the evening with Henry will be Sheriff Doug Rosen, Product Manger for Markzware. Doug will give us an overview of the Markzware family of software conversion products. All of the Markzware products work in a similar way and help to make Affinity Publisher convenient to adopt for page layout. Doug's demo will show us how the stand-alone program IDMarkz can automate the process of migrating many InDesign files into Affinity Publisher with just a few clicks. Time permitting, Doug will also give CDPUG a sneak peek of the next generation of FlightCheck that is in development.

Markzware's current products of IDMarkz, QXPMarkz, and PDFMarkz (not released yet) are perfect companion solutions for those artists using Affinity Publisher. Affinity Publisher is joined by the other Affinity products of Affinity Designer (illustration) and Affinity Photo (image editing) to make a very useful suite of tools for Graphic Designers. Markzware is generously donating an application of your choice for our fundraising raffle.
